Tourism training institute has given capacity building training to hotel professionals in Addis Ababa.

Tourism training institute together with Addis Ababa hotel owners association has given capacity building training for more than 90 hotel professionals on hotel service and hygiene.
Mr. Habtamu Kibret, the vice director of the training and capacity building sector of the tourism training institute, who was present at the closing ceremony of the training, said that the institute is working with the association to improve the hotel service of the country. The vice director, who said that this is the first round of training with the association in the fiscal year, said that similar trainings will be given continuously.
Mr. Habtamu Kibret, who has stated that the training institute has identified new professions that can improve the service delivery of the sector, explained that these professions will be given from three to six months and said that he will continue to give trainings to those who want to attend by attending the institute or by cooperating with the association.
The president of the association Mrs. Aster Solomon on behalf of the training institute deserves a lot of thanks for providing all the necessary cooperation to provide the training. She said thanks to the teachers who provided the training and the coordinators and professionals.
If the private sector and the governmental institutions work together, the expected change can be brought. The president said that we can improve the hotel service of our country, especially in this time where our country is dealing with many international events, so such trainings are necessary to accomplish this.
Employees who attended the training expressed that they have gained new knowledge during the training period and requested it to continue.
A certificate of appreciation has been given to the institute and the association’s office officials and professionals who made the training successful by training and coordination.
